Disable virtual keyboard in Opera?

The reason I waited a few week to get the Touch Pro and not the Diamond is that I wanted the keyboard. So when I have the option to type I want to use my keyboard. When I use Opera, and I need to type, it ALWAYS pops up the virtual keyboard untill I start using my button keyboard. Is there a way to disable this function in Opera? Or maybe in the registry?

Thanks

Me three!

But not only that, why doesn't the keyboard light up when a dialog box is selected? I hate having to hit a button first, and then BS before I can see to type what I want! It's seems like such an obvious thing, especially since sliding KBs have been around for a while now.

Try installing the PHM Pocket PC Power Toys. One of the apps included is a blank keyboard SIP. I've installed it on all my keyboarded phones, and it does the job.

Thanks, It seems I remember that with the 6700, but I never did it. That takes care of the VK, but does it make the KB light come on? If not, maybe they will add that...

Try null keyboard. Take off the .zip extension.

This makes you have no sip come up.
