How does this work and what can I do with this on the Touch Pro?

you need the TV OUT cable. with it, you can plug it up to a DVD player with composite inputs or a TV with the same inputs and you can view photos on the screen, play movies, look at the phones display on the screen, do presentations, etc, etc.

I plan to get the cable if/when I get the phone (giving it another week to make a decision- thats when I'll have time to go get my hands on one and see it in person) so that when I do powerpoint presentations through a projector (fairly frequently) I can just hook my phone up and not always need to have the laptop with me! a lot less to lug around, especially at some of my presentations are at large public outdoor events where I otherwise don't need more than the phone on hand.

Has anyone actually USED one of these cables? I'd like to know exactly what the output resolution is. I assume it cant be anymore than the screen is now.

i have one now. its a composite cable but the quality is very very good. just go to youtube and get an idea.

I got the phone, no presentation until after the first of the year, so going to wait until I get the rest up and running to get the cord.. thanks for the info!

if you guys need me to post something--a video or some such--using this cable, let me know and ill post up something... but youtube should give you an idea... again the resolution is limited to composite level video (akin to the red,white and yellow cables you use on your VCR, etc..) if you need me to post a image of the cable i will, just let me know...

I work in the cable industry- I know exactly what that means... thats plenty for a standard powerpoint presentation.
