Thanks for clearing that up, I did notice my screen stretch it a little to get it all to fit. Maybe it shows nicer on a smaller screen, but It's nice to have, but I guess I was expecting way too much out of it. I Got too spoiled to all this stuff in HD lol.

yep! shame on you cchris... (waving my index finger to you)

its a novelty for sure but is very useful for the business user. i saw it in action at the PRO launch--they had the tv out connected to a projector- and it was very nice looking. if you just use standard viewing on your TV--no zooming/stretching--the output is pretty good for composite...

Yes I am back on the Pro again. And also I did a mod and now it's running 32GB. Since this mod, the Pro is a keeper till the next best thing comes out.

Speaking of which, can you get back to that thread and give us some more info - like where you got that adapter.

Also - on this topic, a lot of people on PPCGeeks made their own video cables. I made 2 by two different methods, with about $5 of materials for each. I'm very happy with the results. The easiest method, imo, involves breaking pin 4 (you have to see the pin layout) of the adapter that comes with your Touch Pro - or (I'd recommend) breaking a similar pin on a less expensive extusb adapter with 3.5mm output. You then connect a camcorder or ipod cable to the 3.5 mm port.

However, breaking that pin is tricky, and there have been a good amount of failures. But if you're handy, or tired of waiting for the official vendors - head to PPCGeeks.

I'm curious to see what the Singapore Vendor's product and price is like. This cable's relatively easy to make for an amateur - so I'm surprised an aftermarket hasn't developed.

I tried the cable that came with my Canon SD790IS digital camera - thought for sure it would work - but it didn't. It only has a single audio (white instead of a red and white). The USB connection was a little tight but seemed to fit ok, but nothing on the screen and no sound. I'm assuming there is nothing that needs to be done on the phone to make display come up on the TV right? Has anyone else found a cable for a camera/camcorder, etc. that worked or is the USB connection fundamentally different?
