Today I swapped my Fuze out for a Pro & didn't want to recreate all of my Opera bookmarks. Furthermore I didn't want to re-authenticate to all of my most visited sites (e.g., PDAPhoneHome). To avoid these situations, I copied the following files from my old device (Fuze) to my new device (Pro):
Bookmarks: \windows\opera9\opera6.adr
Cookies: \windows\opera9\cookies4.dat
NOTE: EXIT OPERA BEFORE DOING THIS
If you found this thread & are using a different device (e.g., Mogul, Tilt, etc.), the directory path for the above files may be different depending on the install path for Opera.
To revert, set module to "\\windows\\OutlookEnhancement.dll"
An easier way to be able to revert back is to rename "Modue" to "Module.bak" instead. That way the original setting is still sitting there in the registry. Also, a reset may be needed before the change takes effect.
I especially can't stand how the checkmarks and option buttons are way too big after changing the menu popup fonts as described in some of the early posts in this thread..

A Semi-Workaround for Delayed Ring:
The Issue:
Windows Mobile is slow to respond to incoming calls, leaving us with less time to answer.
The Workaround:
Set the phone to check for incoming calls more often.
Q 2.1 In CDMA what is meant by "slot cycle index"?
A 2.1 [Credit: Bill Walker]
On the CDMA Paging Channel (this is the shared channel that all phones listen to for incoming calls and other control info), time is divided into "slots". To conserve power, phones that are currently idle only "wake up" and listen for messages on the Paging Channel during their assigned slots. The slot cycle index determines how often the phone's slot comes around. If the slot cycle index is 0, the phone wakes up every 1.28 seconds. If it's one, it wakes up every 2.56 seconds. If it's two, it's every 5.12 seconds, and so on. The larger the setting, the more power is conserved, but the longer it takes to page the phone for an incoming call. You can imagine that if it were set to 10.24 seconds, few callers would hang on the line long enough for you to answer your phone.
The Fix:
The default Slot Cycle Index is 2, you can change it to 1 or 0 using a dial code. NOTE: You will need your MSL from Sprint, I believe verizon's is 000000.
From the phone, dial ##778#
Click Edit.
Enter your MSL
On the bottom left, click View Info and select Modem Settings
Edit the Slot Cycle Index setting and change it accordingly....
The Truth:
With the default slot index of 0, a call might still take 1.28 to be processed, which has a 20% chance of happening even set at 2. So the most that a slot index of 0 will actually gain is 3.84 in the BEST CASE scenario. There could also be no difference at all as the call might come in right after the phone checked. However, my TP takes about that long from when it powers on and starts blinking to when the ringtone starts playing from the ROM. So really, it's a trade off. The battery is going to die faster when it's checking the tower 4X as often.. So, I set mine to 1 and called it a day.
A Semi-Workaround for Delayed Ring, Part II - Shorter and less wordy:
The HTC Dialer Skin on the is pretty.... slow to load, at least that's the consensus. Skywing on xda-developers.com give us the following registry tweak:
In:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Phone\Skin
Set ext to \windows\PhoneCanvas.dll
Rename the DIALER/PROGRESS folders, possibly: oldDIALER/oldPROGRESS
This will give you the default WM Dialer Skin, which appears to load faster.

This worked great for me, but you do loose the bluetooth notifier at the top. Well worth the price for me... the answer delay was crazy and this hack cut that in half.
iDialer and iContact can be very easily used to initiate GV calls to your contacts. Be sure to use the Online Configuration utility to create a cab with your GV number..
Pairing this with Google's activesync option keeps the contact lists in sync, it's a beautiful thing, too bad there's no email sync.
Here's how I made my own Video Out cable at NO cost.. Of course, I already had the breakout from my Mogul days, and the composite video, rca audio cable, and a soldering iron, and a free evening to hack.
You can get the video out to work with ANY ipod video cable and nuetvout ( a simple program from xda devs). This method requires no physical macguyvery and works perfectly.
