Keep trying, my fax eventually went through.
Just got off the phone with them and my pre-order is in and confirmed, but the new release date is now Nov 2nd.

the HD is not coming to sprint, thats direct from the HTC reps mouth... it may pop up on shore unlocked for a GSM carrier but not sprint. again this is from the HTC rep.

My 6700 will be three years old on St Patties day. I may have to dunk it in green beer.

It is unfortunate the Pro isn't the HD with a keyboard. A lot of people will not be too happy if a keyboard version were to come out in the spring. Coming from the 6700 I am positive the Pro or HD will feel like moving up to a high class unit. If I still had the 6700 I would have a hard time waiting. I am having a hard time waiting for the Pro coming from the Mogul. You have excellent self control. I envy you.

I'd hate to rain on your parade, but the $800 touch hd import probably won't have us 3g so you'll be stuck on edge and spotty gsm service. I don't think it's wroth it, but I wouldn't presume to assume you feel the same way

Well I am on Sprint so I would have to wait for the CDMA version. I just noticed Marctronixx said it will not be on Sprint. That makes sense because it would confuse the upgrade path from Mogul to Touch Pro. Which means the next one will be really amazing. Can't get too far ahead, don't have the Pro yet. I will be very happy with the Pro. I just wish it the screen went to the edges. Unless I am wrong that is my impression of the HD.

Totally a brick. My old battery started to die from constant use, so now I have the huge clunker 2800ma battery.
Who knows, Maybe I'll still get the Pro. A lot can happen between now and January.

I read a similar story last night. The details was around the 3G portion. They have not intent on making a 3G version and to mirror what others have said here... Sprint would shoot themselves in the foot if they offered it too soon after the Pro.
Looks like the Pro will be height of US phones for a while...
