Hello all,

Was not exactly sure were to post this request did not see a forum for the HTC SNAP.

I bought my wife the HTC SNAP a few months back and am finally getting around to searching for a fix with her email.

For some reason I can not get her phone to send email. It can receive it just fine but if she trys to send a new one or reply ect...I just get a message that says "The following errors occurred while sending and receviing message: The message(s) cannot be sent. Be certain that you have network coverage and that your account information is correct and then try again."

I have set up the email several times on HTC phones and never had this probelm, i have gone through the set up on this phone a few times but get the same message every time. Is there some trick to setting it up on the HTC SNAP that I am not aware of?

My mother has the HTC PRO and I had this problem when I 1st set it up but all i did was delete the email account and re-set it up and its been fine every sense.

My wife is a realtor and the reason I even got her a smart phone was so she could receive emails on the go and send them on the go so any help would be awsome!

i would say delete the account off the device and re enter it and see if that corrects the issue...

If you are trying to send on an email account that does not allow mobile SMTP, you will have to use your carrier's smtp server for outgoing. I have that problem with my email.

Yea I did that 3 or 4 times and still get the same results.


I set the email up exactly the same way my Mogul and my mothers Pro is set up ours works fine but her's (HTC SNAP) will not send out email only recevies them.

can you access the internet on the phone?

have you called the carrier to make sure the data is working on the phone and its provisioned properly?

can you try another email such as gmail to test if the phone works with other accounts?
