Verizon Visual Voice Mail

Does anyone else use this or have any info about it? I have it and the notifications seem to be acting strange. You get notified that a voice mail has been downloaded to your phone and ready to be played. When you click on the notification icon on the top bar, and the notification screen opens, you have the same option to "dismiss all". So I click that and nothing happens, the notifications don't delete and the notification icon never goes away. Even after listening to and deleting the voice mail, try doing the "refresh", try logging out of the vm system....everything I can think of, the notification icon on the top bar never goes away. And when you click on the icon and go back into the notification screen, it still shows entries having to do with the Visual Voice Mail. I have also noticed that when in the notification screen there is a connection icon in the upper right corner which also displays a timer. I imagine that's because some sort of data connection is used to download the voice mails to the phone...?? I have also tried using the Comm Manager to close all connections, including the phone itself, and nothing seems to work.

Anyway, the only way I can get rid of the notification icon is to soft reset the phone. Once that is done both the icon and the actual entries are now gone.

Looking for any input or ideas.....

Thanks,
Brian

i use th everizon visual voicemail exclusivley.. and it really works well for me.. When i get a VM, it opens up the visual vm automatically and i can play it via ear, speaker, or bluetiith real easily... and it lets me see who left the voicemail to begin with incase i want to just dump it.. a real time saver..

I never had a problem with the notifications not going away, as soon as i close it the notification is gone.
