Need recommendation for good calendar app

I'm a long-time Palm user who loved my DateBK 6 calendar app.

With the death of the old Palm OS, I decided to move to Touch Pro 2, but REALLY miss that excellent calendar app and am looking for a decent replacement.

I'm now syncing with Google calendar, but would like a good app on the TP2 that will make it easy to add new appointments. (I particularly miss a great feature in DateBK - where if I needed to schedule a 2nd appt with someone, all I had to do was click on the event, click copy, and then put in the time/date details. Now I have to re-do the appt from scratch).

Any good recommendations?

The most featured one out there is Pocket Informant...
here are some others:
Iambic Agendus
Agenda Fusion
Extreme Agenda
Inesoft Calendar
Thumbcal
Did I miss any?

I would include Papyrus(now Calendar Touch) from SBSH.

Is there a way to get the standard WM 6.1 calendar instead of the TF3 one? I like the day view that shows the dayparts rather than the schedule. Or maybe there is a TF3 setting I cannot find.

I use PocketBreeze, its a today screen app but its the best I have found. It uses data from activsync. I hate to sound like a microsoft fanboy but if your really into managing your calendar I would recommend getting an exchange server account and going to town. Essentially the core of the windows mobile phone was designed around syncing so it kinda goes hand in hand. I have been using an exchange server since 2000 to manage my tasks and calendar and its never let me down. -T

Can these alternative calendars replace on the Touchflow calendar app, or do you have to access them as a distinct application?

I really like the integration of TF, even if the calendar is a bit lacking.

watching this thread with interest. slightly off topic, but does anyone know if there's a way to get an "agenda" view on the tf3d tab? I ran facade on my old Q and really like the agenda format, which just showed a list of future events.

After I made my last post I was checking pocket breeze for updates and it never occured to me to check their newly available apps They actually have a new "Touch calendar". Basically looks to me to have the functionality of pocketbreeze maybe more but not tied to the today screen
Software for Windows Mobile Pocket PC: Calendar Touch - SBSH Mobile Software

They do have a trial if you wanted to test. Again though it does appear that its still bases off Outlook or Exchange data so you mileage may vary if your trying to stick with google ... although I thought I saw some details on using Activsync with google now a days?

Anyhow, as far as I know, none of these programs can replace the calendar tab in TF3d. That was one of my beefs with TF3d was the calendar and the messaging tab.

There is some talk about using it with tf3d in the forum here
TouchFlo 3d integration - SBSH Mobile Software Forums

You could also try MTP where you can add today screen apps to the tf3d interface.

I tried it briefly on my first few dates with tf3d but it wasn't enough for my tastes ... -T

Also, I re-read your initial post and wanted to let you know that in pocketbreeze you press and hold on a calendar item and click 'Copy' it then brings up a monthly view and you touch the day to put the copy in.

You also have the option of choosing 'reschedule and reminder' and you can quickly change the dates of the existing if you wanted to reuse it instead of making a new copy ...

Ok ... thats the last post from me
