Picture Rotation

Just trying to get a grasp on when the G-Sensor is suppose to come into play. I was under the impression that when looking at a picture, for instance one of the default landscape pictures (like after clicking on the yellow flower thumbnail) when it's full screen, that the picture would rotate when flipping the phone.

Am I wrong on this? Basically asking because I'm having issues with the phone powering off when closing the keyboard while in the horizontal position. I'm speculating the G-Sensor may be having issues and didn't know if it's affecting other things.

Thanks,
Brian

Send a message via AIM to MGuzzy

Be aware not all apps are g-sensor aware.

Well here's a "for example":

I click on the Photos & Videos tab in the TF3D
I scroll to the Yellow Flower picture
I click on it which brings up full screen
I now rotate the phone 90 degrees however the picture's orientation doesn't change.

Is that the default operation of the phone or should the picture also rotate?

Thanks

this was true on the TP - but not on the TP2. The TP2 opens the pic in the same orientation as it was taken.
