remove sim card

On the Verizon phone there is a metal bracket over the sim card, is anyone aware of how this is removed?

you don't remove the metal band over the SIM.
instead use your stylus.
when looking at the SIM in the phone.
there is a slot in the phone , insert the stylus in the slot and push out.

I hope this helps.
