Voice Notification / Start Menu

Someone I have turned on voice notification when I receive a txt msg or email. It reads the subject and who it's from. How can I turn this off.

Also, I have accidentially removed the settings and home icon from the start menu. How can I restore them. When you click Plus sign to add it only shows installed apps and settings or home really aren't an app.

Thank you.

Randy

go into voice command and adjust your voice settings there.

and as for the today screen, are you using the touch flo app or just the basic today screen?

did you make any hacks or mods to the today screen?

I have noticed tha the notifications via audio are one of the things that the infamous cleanup cab changes. It also unmaps VC from long press end key, and turns screen brightness WAY down.

I still appreciate it and use it, but I have to tweak it for me a little. It was nice of the person who made it to share it, but the settings are HIS favorites and not necessarily ours, so a little tweaking is still in order. That is the nature of winmo.

Settings and Home Icon.

Thank you Marctronixx . I finally found the voice commands. It is off now.

I have also used the cleanup cab and that is the only mod that I have done to the menus that I know of.

So how might I be able to get my settings and home icon back?

so you are using the touch flo3d yes? if so, the home icon does not move. i am on sprint but the home icon should not have been deleted...you can go into the settings and check what icons you want visible...

I think i get it - you unlocked the shortcuts in the start menu for home and setting, then deleted them. If you do not see them in the add dialogue, then I am stumped as I have never deleted those.
