I'd like to know also. I have an app that doesn't work in Opera.
Thanks,

look here:
Opera 8.5 beta for Windows Mobile, Pocket PC is released - provide feedback in this thread - Opera for Windows Mobile - Opera Community
midway down.. see if that info helps. ill post the reg entries form the above thread. you will need a reg editor to get into the registry of course but perhaps this will help:
Quote:
Opera changes the following registry keys/values:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\htmlfile\DefaultIcon]
(Default) iexplore.exe,-1003
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\htmlfile\Shell\Open\Command]
(Default) iexplore.exe file: %1
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\xhtmlfile\DefaultIcon]
(Default) iexplore.exe,-1003
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\xhtmlfile\Shell\Open\Command]
(Default) iexplore.exe file: %1
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\gifimage\DefaultIcon]
(Default) iexplore.exe,-1003
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\gifimage\Shell\Open\Command]
(Default) iexplore.exe file: %1
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\icoimage\DefaultIcon]
(Default) iexplore.exe,-1003
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\icoimage\Shell\Open\Command]
(Default) iexplore.exe file: %1
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\http\DefaultIcon]
(Default) iexplore.exe,-1003
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\http\Shell\Open\Command]
(Default) iexplore.exe %1
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\https\DefaultIcon]
(Default) iexplore.exe,-1003
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\https\Shell\Open\Command]
(Default) iexplore.exe %1
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ftp\DefaultIcon]
(Default) iexplore.exe,-1003
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ftp\Shell\Open\Command]
(Default) iexplore.exe %1
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\file\DefaultIcon]
(Default) iexplore.exe,-1003
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\file\Shell\Open\Command]
(Default) iexplore.exe %1
this may or may not work but this is what i had in an old bookmark when opera was NOT yet default on these devices...

Start then find an empty slot, press the "Add" and select IE.
Been trying to, but just not warming up to Opera.

There is an app called fixIE at xda that does this. It is referenced
here
I have never used this on the TP2 as I think Opera performs beautifully on this device, but it worked well on both my
Mogul and my TP when needed.
