Why no volume control with BT stereo?

When I connect my TP2 to one of my many Bluetooth stereo A2DP devices, My TP2 tells me that I will not be able to adjust the volume of my music from my TP2, but only from the A2DP device itself. The reason this is bad for me, is that some of my MP3s are a lower quality, and tend to distort when media player's volume is at 100%. On my TP1 I would set the volume to about 85-90% and the distortion would go away. Anyone know of away to change this? Thanks.

Rob

I've always used the built in media player. Partly because it seems to be the player that responds to my bluetooth devices. Meaning that in my car with my sony BT stereo, when I press the forward button on the stereo, it moves the track forward on Media Player. Any 3rd party players do that?

A2DP devices are designed to do this to media players, so yes other players do this. the built in app is a resource and memory hog when its running.

I have noticed this myself and it is a bit irritating. When connecting to any of my A2DP devices I get that message. But the main problem for me is that when I just press the play button on my A2DP device it launches Sprint Music Player and not Windows Media, which I prefer. I don't know how to change to make WMP the default player.

As far as the volume thing goes I just checked and you can set media player to 85-90 and adjusting the volume on your A2DP device won't change this. You device volume changes but not the volume on your TP2.

Marc....ya know how to change the default player??

Cheers!!
