Voice Command Problem

Voice Command works fine the first time. But, after making a call using VC subsequent commands don't work. I hear the tone to speak a command but after speaking the command VC beeps and no command is invoked. Any help?

hmm, have had some random issues with VC as well. I notice them more after I have had something in the 3.5mm adapter. I use this all the time in my car and for headphones and sometimes afterward VC is broken until I do a soft reset. I know this post was no help, but at least you are not alone.

Same here. Sometimes VC is slow to launch, and sometimes I don't get the tone in my BT headset, have to look at the screen for the mic icon.

the audio gateway in your BT device may not react as quickly as it needs to to hear the tone.. thats not the phones issue.. its on the headset...

I thought of that so I tried VC with and without the BT enabled and got the same result. I think the phone does not react to VC as quickly as it should.

I had a similar problem with VC when I changed a setting to have the phone notification be sensitive to calendar items - whenever I had a meeting (busy) on my calendar I couldn't get VC to work correctly. I don't remember where the notification setting was, but I ended up resetting the phone to install the clean up cab... and the problem went away.

I found I had Audio Recorder set to record calls and disabled it. Too soon to say if that was the problem or not. I notice that sometimes I cannot disconnect a call when BT is active.
