Any issues with TCPMP not working properly..missing buttons and lock ups

I just loaded TCPMP 0.721RC (the recomp one that works on my 6800) and when I start the program the command buttons on the bottom are missing (Play, stop and fast forward). When I select a movie from the storage card it just hangs and I have to soft-reset to get out of it.

Is this a known issue and is anyone else having problems with it. I've removed the program, reinstalled, soft reset and still no dice. I've even tried running from the storage card and main memory and nothing. I've searched this forum using TCPMP and didn't get any hits.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or if the Touchflo is interfering with it.

Any suggestions on how to fix this would be welcome-

Thanks you

Thanks for the response- I was thinking about taking a look at Core Player also.

Do you have a link for it by any chance?

Thank you for your help...it's appreciated

I'm interested in buying the product but some of the links appear to be broken on the website.

I did have two quick questions - will core player support .avi formats and does it have a full screen mode?

Thanks again.

hmmm. I thought Pocket Player only supported wm files? I'll have to check as that is one of the programs that needs to be installed on the new device.

I'll also look at GS player- thanks Marctronixx and dctrbnsttr

I was having the exact problem with TCPMP too. Many soft resets and even a few hard resets. I think the version I got to work was the "TCPMP 0.72RC1 Recomp 3" version. Works just like it did on my old TP1.

Maybe that's not the difference, but mine works, so don't jinx it.

Hey Roofus4

I noticed your on Sprint and it's working for you. I wonder if Verizon changed something again?

I'll look for the Recomp 3 version and try that- I know I'm using 0.721RC1 but not sure if the one I have is Version 3.

Thanks!
