Has anyone experimented with the Add a new Push page on the browser screen? Curious what might be a good item to add.

well whatever it is it basically keeps opera running in the background..

so for instance.. if you had ebay up.. it would constantly refresh the auction so you were always up to date....

I cannot figure out what push pages are really for. The whole TouchFlo browser page is weird. I'd expect to be able to type and go to a website and some buttons for places I wanted to go. But launching the browser takes a button push, entering into the field does a search on Bing (which cannot be redirected as far as I can tell), and the odd push pages.

For now, I've turned off the browser from the TF3 slider, and programmed the star key to launch opera. So to get to the web, I open the keyboard, push star, and start typing.

Am I missing something about the browser page or the push pages?

as stated above,, the push is for sites you set in to be updated. it polls eveyr hour and consumes a ton of memory. definitely a cute idea but just not practical.

I think my question was more why would I want to do that rather than what it does. I guess I just don't get it -- a failure of imagination. It seems others have a similar failure.
