Actually the VZW version does not have a forward facing camera even though the HTC spec did, since US carriers have not brought video calls to their phones yet. What I mean by visual voicemail is voicemails that can be scrolled through and deleted or saved at will on your phones screen, instead of having to call your voicemail and go through each one in succession. Most famously this was done on the iPhone but its on other phones too, and is now on our phone as well! Also I believe the button you're referring too on the top of the device is the power button. The Microsd slot can only be accessed by removing the battery cover
For those that ordered it Friday for Tuesday delivery for the $200 with $100 mail in rebate. Verizon wireless website has it for 50 dollars less now. I got them to credit my account for $50. Can't wait for it to arrive.
lofuge, Thanks for mentioning the price change. It was a bit of a struggle, but after 3 people I was also able to get the $50 diff credited to my account.
I would have been steamed to find out that it dropped in price before the package even arrived.
Big V must be trying to put a smack on sprint lowering the price so much.
Asleep and missed my delivery! Called Fedx and said they would attempt redelivery. I had door entry tied to my existing cell phone but ringer was too low to wake me. Oh well after waiting one very long weekend I guess one more day of eternity will be acceptable Confirmed I wait!!!!!!
Somebody at the California outlet that processed my order boned it up. Order was placed Friday (noonish) with Priority Overnight FedEx, but it didn't arrive today. I called VZW and they told me it was shipped today Standard Overnight. They are crediting my accout the $14.99 it would have cost for shipping and it will arrive tomorrow (they gave me the tracking number over the phone). Another day delay, but I think I'll survive.

NE2 was a way ti give existing custmers a promotional price for a new phone so they wouldn't lose them to another carriers promotion. Of cousre dropping the promotion to 30bux ain't going to retain anybody. I have a NE2 that I haven't used in a while I plan on getting my $100.... I was able to demand it for my wife's phone we she upgraded earlier this year...
man you guys have me drooling over a new phone... I haven't drooled over a new PDAPhone in a while. I'm not going to get one until I can play with it in the store.. But does anybody have any impressions of the build quality? In the past I've not been impressed with the build quality of HTC phones compared to Samsung's. The HTC's always seemed flimsy. The TP1 seemed like the first solidly built offering from HTC. I even have a few clients that are very hard on phones that got TP1's and they are holding up well. So I'm hoping the TP2 follows that design spec.

Does this mean you got the phone for $50? On the website it still appears that the lowest price for the phone is $99.
Got mine today, looks nice... a lot more 'solid' then any other HTC device I've used which is a plus. Looks like it's going to be good replacement for my i760, tho I already miss the 'OK' button.
Verizon horked my order.. I ended up reordering it last night around 630pm... my friday order was still pending some manager review because of the extra discount I was supposed to get via the web that didn't work. Was a little annoyed with that. Had them cancel it, ordered it online and got it a couple hours ago.

I have mine charging at the moment and I have the back cover off of it. I would say that it is pretty solidly constructed. It does seem to be easier to remove the cover if the stylus is removed, but a spare comes packaged with the phone. I also got the additional 3 adapters for the outlet charger so travel to different continents shouldn't be a big deal, as far as charging goes that is
Looking at the battery compartment, the MicroSD slot is on the right side, in the chasis. Under the battery is a GSM SIMM card slot for travelling VZW customers.
Once mine is done charging I will begin fiddling with it. I wanted to give the battery a full charge before getting started.
