How can I turn off the tone that lets me know that an email has arrived? I know how to turn of the ring tone but not this tone. When I am in meeting it can be a distraction.
Answer:
- Start > Settings > Sounds & Notifications.
- Select the Notifications tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Using the drop down list for "Select an event", select "Inbox: New e-mail message".
- Unselect "play sound", or make other changes to the notification options.
