How do I set the Phone Edition to Default to Speaker Phone?

First, start to dial a number like Voice Mail and then end it. (A number where you won't be bothering a person should the call go through)

Second, tap the signal icon and then tap TURN PHONE OFF then quickly before the signal icon changes to the phone off icon press and hold the send button to redial the last number dialed. The phone should say "dialing" and go into speakerphone mode before the "phone off" icon is displayed. The speakerphone icon should now be displayed and your redialed call shouldn't have gone through because you just turned off the phone software.

Third, now tap the "phone off" signal icon and then tap TURN PHONE ON.

Now pressing and holding the send button toggles the speakerphone feature on and off instead of dialing first then switching to speakerphone. Just tap send to dial with the speakerphone already enabled.

Soft resetting the device will cancel this. I've been able to successfully repeat these steps every time, I hope it works for you.
