You have two choices for starting a data session (GPRS, dialed, etc.) by default; let it happen automatically, or go into the Connections menu and do it. The first method means the session will end shortly after the data traffic stops. The second method is kind of awkward because you have to go through several screens to do it.
The easiest way to simplify the process is to add Connections to the Start menu. You need to add a shortcut for Connections to the Start menu as follows:
- Using File Explorer, navigate to the Windows directory.
- Find the remnet.exe program.
- Select and hold with the stylus, then select copy.
- Navigate to the Windows\Start Menu directory.
- Select paste.
- This will create a shortcut called "Shortcut to remnet.exe".
- Select and hold wiht the stylus, then select rename.
- Change the name to "Connections".
