Over the air sync issue - no calendar or contacts?

Hello,

I recently picked up a couple of these devices for two of the people I support at work. Trouble is I can't get the devices to sync the users calendars and contacts over the air with the Exchange server. E-mail and tasks sync with no problems, but as soon as I add in calendars and/or contacts they both fail. E-mail still syncs, but neither contacts nor calendars will.

Oddly, I can sync calendars and contacts directly off of the users computer using Activesync 4.5 and still sync e-mail over the air. This unfortunately is not acceptable as the users don't always have their computers at hand.

I also currently support several Moto Q9Ms and have not had any issues with syncing to the Exchange server over the air with any of them

Has anybody seen/solved this problem before?

Thanks in advance

EDIT - from everything I have seen so far in searching, it looks like a common issue with WM6.1. So with that in mind is there any way to downgrade to 6.0?

If the devices are running Windows Mobile 6.1, there are known issues with getting the calendar and contacts to synch over the air. MMS messaging doesn't work either.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, that's what I've been finding through the various searches for info that I've done. And not limited to this device either.

I talked to both Verizon and HTC and neither could help. When I asked if there was any way to downgrade back to 6.0 or 5.x HTC said they don't have anything officially but I could try the HTC wiki site. No luck. Like I wrote before, none of the other devices I support, all 6.0, have any issues syncing.
