T-Mobile Wing: How Do I Get Rid Of Those Pesky Icons On The Taskbar?

DISCLAIMER: Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I did not see a dedicated Wing section...

On the MDA, you could just remove the files found in the STARTUP folder inside the Windows folder. I tried that on my Wing, and well, no joy for me!

I use iLauncher to put icons in my taskbar, and the 5 T-Mo icons are really CRAMPIN' MY STYLE!!!

How do I get that "stuff" back? TIA

All:

I found my answer about four hours after posting this. I was digging through the registry looking for the PDA equivalent of the Run key on a desktop windows machine. It appears that the Init section is that equivalent. I backed that key up, and completely deleted the TrayAp.exe entry. Soft Reset, and voila! It was gone!!!

Happiness once again... until I find something else I want to change! Oh well, life goes on!

What if you want to remove just a couple of those icons but not all of them?

I just want to get rid of the t-zones icon and the music icon....

Cool Hay guys

I have tmobile wing...just got it couple days ago..today is the first time joiing this forum
just wanna tell u guys some tips.....
if you disable the sound of sliding keyboard...it makes it faster to switch b/w two modes
also never overclock your pda over 280 mhz. it will freeze and you will have to take battery out to restart it....will harm wing for sure....
