I recently bought a "USB Docking Cradle Kit w/ Battery Slot for HTC Touch Diamond (type C)" from Daydeal.com (actually they had this item on ebay but it's the same description at their online store).
It did NOT fit... the connection was about 2mm off! In fact, I scratched the bottom of my Diamond trying to get it to fit! Maybe this would work on the non-CDMA version but it doesn't specify on the website.
Now I'm waiting for return instructions.

I'd like to hear from anyone who bought one on ebay or through an online company that you KNOW works on your Sprint Touch Diamond.

Maybe they changed the description recently, but the link you posted definitely refers to it being for the GSM Touch Diamond.

I haven't seen a cradle for the CDMA Diamond yet, but Seidio & Boxwave are 2 places I would keep an eye on.

Perhaps, but the ebay auction I bid on did not specify GSM.

It was only after I went to the daydeal site to look at other Diamond accessories that I noticed GSM.

They also sell an insert for it for the so called "extended battery" which I believe is what the Sprint and Verizon versions are/will be for Verizon.

Yeah it's so gorgeous I love it! HTC definitely made some cool & innovative design decisions in some of their newer devices. Now I just wish the underlying hardware quality met these same standards (errr... still having issues with my End Key & directional arrows).
