The rumor is, sprint gets it Sep. 14th for 249.99 after rebate:

Sprint Store verified Diamond on Oct 12 and Pro Oct 19th in stores

For what it's worth this is what the rep in my local store told me today.

Diamond Oct 12

Pro Oct 19

She said it is unusually long from internet release date to store availability.

Unfortunately my contract isn't up until 2/09.

Maybe I'll sell my Touch on ebay and then pay the retail...
