WM5 for IPAQ 6510?

This upgrade is specifically denied for this device according to HP. This doesn't really make sense to me though because it looks like a device that should work with WM5. Is there a workaround? Is there an unapproved hacker variety of the WM5 that works with this device?

That's because HP came out with the follow-on hw6900 series, with WM5 and WiFi. As far as I know, there are no modified ROMs with WM5 for the hw6500.

John is right. there aren't any, won't be any, etc. Even if there was one, the slow processor, and amount of Storage available in it would prevent WM5 from working correctly. The HTC Blue Angel with 128MB of RAM and (essentially) a 96MB ROM doesn't have enough Storage for WM5. After the hacked, unoffical ROM is installed, theres like, only 20-some odd MB of Storage space available. The 6500 series doesn't come with that much ROM...
