Hi,

First, I am not American but Israeli. This is why I would like to get some help with USA phones.

I am about to stay in NY for a while and purchase an HP 6945, unlocked. I'd like to use it in USA & Israel. While in USA a prepaid sim seems like a logical purchase?
Prepaid sims will make the phone work, but I don't understand how GRPS/EDGE can be used with such sims. Do Singular/TMobile offer data plans for such prepaid sims?
Does anybody have advice/experience, and in particular with this model?
