i own a hp 6515 and i am facing a very wierd problem...
its like the fone automatically turns off..can any one help me get over with this...
i recently did the bios update from 1.01 to 1.21 bt still the problem persists..
and one more thing..how do i turn the thing off as wen i hold the power button for long i get the profile menu...

Don't know why happens? If the problem persists and the PDA is under Warranty period, send it to the manufacturer I believe they're facing so many problems and that they're changing defective motherboards. In my case, I did this myself and HP told me that everything was fine. NO way, this junk is not reliable, it turns off by itself without no trend at all!!!!

Have faced the same problem in more than one units.

Finally it was found it is due to micro switch of back cover. Use any stuff (I used plastic foam) in the right side of notch so that back cover press it little more harder.

For months this problem never occured.
