The Audible.com audio book software won't run with the 240x240 display. It recognizes that the display skin does't fit and bails out. Man am I bummed. Hopefully they'll get it fixed soon.
I stopped using Journal Bar long ago due to its memory leak issue. I would write to OmegaOne and voice your concern. They offer free updates, but what good are free updates if they don't fix the problems and address resolution needs.

I did write to them and they told me that they know about it but have nothing in the works.
I am unaware of the "memory leak" issue. Can you tell me more ?
Magic button works fine for a free way to have the close button really "close", not minimize a program. Available here: http://www.trancreative.com/mb.aspx

In previous version of JB little by little the available memory was disappear. Omega Once claimed it was due to the way MS implements the today screen plugins and ultimately they could do nothing. So I refuse to use their apps even though they are free upgrades for me and I tell people to stay clear as well.
Has anyone tried using MS Reader to play Audible.com audio books. Since the audible player software won't run on the hw6500's 240x240 screen this might be another way of listening to your audio books.
Thanks for contacting Audible, the world's largest online destination for downloadable audiobooks and other spoken-word entertainment.
With the changes to Audible.com this past week, to now listen to Audible content on your PDA, you will need the AudiblePlayer program that can be downloaded from www.audible.com/software.

I ordered the Symantec AV for Handhelds but the latest version that installed on my PPC is v3.0.0.194. Can you please tell me where did you obtain the v3.0.198? The version I have have a little bit cut-off of the screen on the bottom. Thanks.
Beside the already mentioned apps, Metro (http://nanika.net/Metro) works perfectly. In fact, the software shows the main vertical scroll bar but you don't actually need it since the program detect that screen resolution and provides it own scroll bar. So you sometimes end up with two scroll bars (vertical but don't cover any info) but otherwise works fine.
It'll be nice if the links can be hyperlinked or list the websites for these applications. Just listing the names of the compatible applications doesn't do any good to a new user.

65xx has odd square screen 240x240 which 80% s/w out there do not support. Nearly every one of them support 240x320. So NVD can fill this gap.
