Any one please help,

I have a bluetooth gps reciever I want to use with my 6515. it is a Globalsat BT 359W, and I am running TomTom navigator 6.

The problem is that I have changed the settings, via CHANGE PREFERENCES/SHOW GPS STATUS/CONFIGURE/OTHER BLUETOOTH GPS RECIEVER (At this point I get 'please establish a bluetooth connection screen, even though the gps is paired) then I get, GPS is connected to: At this point I have selected BLUE TOOTH SERIAL PORT 5. But then I get NO VALID GPS SIGNAL.

I have also done the settings through other NMEA GPS reciever as well, as advised somewhere else.... But still to no avail.

I know the GPS reciever is working through the GPS info program supplied and installed on my 6515, and tracks sattellites no problem.

So can someone help me I am at my wits end, I know it works on the internal reciever ok, as I have been using it this way, but the lag is a bit too much for the usage I need.

Any help will be much appriciated.

I am using a 6515 with TT7.The Internal GPS is working OK but....
You must download the tool gpsgate en install this op the 6515.
Then set it with the wizard and the device should find a port on com 7.
Use this and set is to work with TT.
Change in gpsgate the option `start gpsgate after soft restart`
In TT7 there is an option for GPS settings en change is to another NMEA gps, set the baudrate to 4800 en change it to the com `franson`
If Ok, the gps should run with TT OK !
Maybe a soft restart first.
It works for me.
