Camera on 6315 dead and locks up phone

I have a 6315 (now a 6365) that locks up anytime I try to use the camera. I see the overlay screen (with controls and framing lines) but freezes the phone hard. Need a hard reset to clear. Any ideas? I have tried reflashing with native 6315 firmware and now 6365 firmware and nothing helps? Is it possible to replace the camera module? I am wondering if it is looking for a camera v-sync signal it is never getting or something.

Any help?

Thanks

hmm...that is a strange problem indeed. if you feel comfortable opening your device then try "re-seating" the camera as maybe it has come loose? i'm shooting in the dark here sorry

No problem cracking it open. Already have infact. The only 2 issues I have with this phone is the Camera is dead, and the soft-reset is damaged. After opening it up, it would appear someone pushed the reset button too hard and smashed it. I did see the camera module, but it looked well attached. How is it attached anyways? I did see a ribbon cable. I would assume that there is no other connections under the camera module?

Also, any ideas where I may be able to get a replacement switch?

Thanks

From what I can remember I believe the camera module sat directly over it's adapter; however, in all honesty I can't remember. I would open mine up...but i think it ran away a few months after I bought the Wizard.

*sigh* these 1st generation electronics have such fragile egos it's really difficult not do anything that would upset them.
