I am wondering if the new Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) cards would work on the HP 6315? I have read somewhere that it works on the Treo 700W. Has anyone tested it? SDHC cards are for some reason much cheaper than the regular SD cards. Let me know!
Just wondering if there was any new information on this subject, such as an updated driver or hack that would allow a 6315 to recognize SDHC cards. I recently bought a 4GB SDHC card after reading that our 6315 would handle 4GB and incorrectly assuming all 4GB cards were SDHC (it's hard to find any that aren't). I've found updated drivers, but they are apparently for WM5 and thus wont work with our iPaqs. Any help would be appreciated.
SDHC cards don't work on my MDA, which uses Windows 5, and there isn't a patch to make them work. Therefore, I cannot imagine them working on Windows 2003, which is an older and more primative version of Windows CE.
I BELIEVE the SDHCs can work with Windows 6, but I haven't tried it as I don't have a W6 device--I THINK you still need a patch for that.
SDHC devices don't work with a lot of SD adapters on PCs, but the SanDisk MobileMate SD+, Model SDDR-103 will--it works with SD, Mini-SD, TransFlash and several others--and the SDHC versions work, too, with XP-Pro SP2.
