Poor Bluetooth Performance (and SMS issue)
Hi all, new here.
I have a 6365 that I bought 2nd hand. It was flashed to a new ROM I think when I got it, I'll post my info at the bottom of this post for reference. I have two issues basically.
First is that I can connect to my Bluetooth headsets just fine (thank goodness) but the actual quality is not too good. The quality sounds fine for calls, but is unacceptable for music (sounds like bad a mono tiny radio clock). The fidelity isn't there. My question is; is this a problem with the Bluetooth version of the phone? (seems to be BTv1.2). The same bluetooth headsets I use (Omiz brand, forget the exact model) work perfectly fine on Ericsson phones with BTv2.0. Is this really a problem with the BT version, or is it something else, and can I do anything about it?
Does anyone else here use their iPaqs for music listening via bluetooth?
Second issue is weirder. I can send SMS just fine most of the time, but when I send it to just one friend in particular, I can send the first message, but if she replies and I reply back to the reply, the SMS gets stuck in the Outbox and finally gets a "Phone Service could not be contacted" error (Forgot exact error, it was to that effect. I can get the exact error message later) and then it goes into the Drafts folder. In the meantime I think my battery gets drained bigtime as it tries to send the SMS. Very inconvenient.
The weird thing is that if I create a new message instead of reply, the SMS gets sent almost 100% of the time.
Any ideas on what is causing this?
Any help and input would be appreciated. Thanks!
