h6300 Series Language Modifications

As many of you have requested, and Barrr has grown ill of your requests....

Seriously, Barrr has taken the initiative to modify the files so those users who would like a different language on their device can do so.

So please look over the instructions, and if you have any questions....bug him not me! just kidding....Ask anyone on this forum...as there is, like I always say, an abundant wealth of knowledge here.

Enjoy...

Language change

Hi,

the page with all the chaged files is great guys. thanks so much for providing all this. I just have one question to make sure I'll do the right thing. I have a german IPAQ want to switch it to english. Do i have to download the Modified file now from the english row and also the update from the english HP site, or the ones in the german row?

hope to hear from somebody.

Thanks
BJ

You have to download the nodified HPRUU file from the English row as well as the English Setup from the HP site using the link in the same row. Then you extract the files from the original English setup but after that you Cancel the installation and overwrite the original HPRUU.EXE file with the modified one. Now, set your iPAQ into bootloader mode and run the modified HPRUU.

Good Luck.

Yes beaups, LVL did nothing. He just designed the page, put in the links, stored the modified HPRUU's on his FTP and put the time and effort to write all the instructions so that anyone could read and understand.
Absolutely nothing
Cheers LVL.

Sebekbak. This is not a file but an entire operating system operating in Polish. I'm afraid the only ones who can do it are HP.
