iite so i went on the link u sent and then i went into 6315 updates, there are 5 sets over there i intended to download the second set of rom version and when i click on setII i am redirected to a page that starts with laptop battery guide/ firefox crop circle and all that stuff, i couldnt get a download of that set II files can you please send me a link where i can find exactly that one? the page that contains all 5 sets is www.lvlolvlo.net/PDA/ROMUpdate.htm and i have tried all sets but set II none worked giving me an error 608 " RUUclientdriver.dll could not initialize this device. this may not be a correct DLL for this ipaq Pocket PC and this NFB file. "

I tried several times to upgrade my H6315 to 6365 with set V, but after having upgraded, it's stil a 6315 (seen in asset management information). Where am I wrong?

I have another issue: when I call someone, he can't hear me. If someone calls me, no problem with hearing/speaking.

Any ideas?

So i did the 1.11 upgrade, and before i did it my sim worked, now it doesnt, i get unrecognized sim.

So then the question would be, how can i revert the pda back to something that accepts the sim, or is there a way to just revert it back to t-mobile 1.08

I just got a refurbed HP 6315 that has the 1.00 ROM. I tried the link to the T-Mobile ROM update but it asked for a T-Mobile number.

I used a friend's T-Mobile number and snagged the ROM update.

I use my Cingular SIM card with it and have had pretty good results except this unit is becoming a dinosaur and almost every one I find has some issues like spontaneous reboots or a dead CMOS batter.

I'm afraid of that 6365 ROM thing

Yep, man. I'm totally with you. I bought my phone about a month ago. Great toy!

But I'm afraid to upgrade it once again.

I did it from 1.0.1 to 1.10.08 about 2 weeks ago. But still got some problems: sometimes it just stop responding to anything (only soft reset helps). And it calls to the previously called number sometimes... But I think I know how to fix it.

Right now I'm in the middle of experiment: I've installed about a dozen of programs like SPB weather, SPB timer, Resco explorer and etc. There is almost no free space right now. Everything is really slow... And I can't get it... How does free space of RAM effect speed of applications??? Why they are so slow????

Anyway, If I've got 1.10.08 of h6315, do you think it's possible to make 6365 by V set?

I very much require in rom from t-mobile. Help me, please.
I have bought recently ipaq 6315 on ebay, unlocked, worked, but.. but..
Because of problems with BT module I have replaced rom on 1.11 without t-mobile customization and I have now more the worst problem - simcard (Orange IL) does not find network absolutely.
And it is very similar on software problem.
Help me, please, with t-mobile rom (old, new it' not important), or with number of the t-mobile user.
