Royaltek RBT-3000 BT GPS...w/Routis 2004.
HP TC1100 Tablet PC.. did some simple BT dialup networking connections, need to explore more
Anyone try to pair with the BMW Bluetooth built-in hands free kit? I have a BMW 330i and want to get it, but would love to hear others experiance with it. Seems from my reseach that everything "should" work since all appropiate BT profiles are suppported by the h6315.
I'm on my second 6315. I have a new Jabra BT200 also.
50% of the time the headset wont picket unless I reset the iPAQ.
If I leave bluetooth enabled, my iPAQ will lockup within a few hours. Turn off Bluetooth and its fine. (Note: my first 6315 would lock up regularly regardless of BT or WiFi!!!).

So....not very usable if you ask me.
Oh, and the range for the BT200 is pretty crap.

I can't say I have experienced those issues. Sounds like a bad radio or h6315 in general. My BT200 has around a 50 foot range outdoors and about two rooms away indoors. You might want to talk to T-Mobile and even return or exchange the h6315.
This is my second 6315, and the GSM radio is *much* better than the first. I'm rather scared to swap it out at this point as I have quite a good one.....but obviously there are better out there!
Success:
Bluetrek G2 Silver Headset - Easy setup and MS Voice Command interprets names and Dial 1800xxxyyyy. Can also listen to Media Player through it, but of course, it's not stereo. I also think the G2 looks cool compared to some of those wrap around the ear big boom ones.
Success:
Can use 6315 as a BT Modem from my laptop using a cheap $18 BAFO dongle that I bought in the same order as the Headset.
Failure:
Can't get Activesync to work via BT. Doesn't recognize device. The serial ports for the BT dongle are 8 and 9 and when I try to change, there are other things already dedicated to different ports.
Failure:
When trying to use PAN, I can get an IP address, but can't use the BT through the laptop to connect to the internet.
Thoughts?
Joe.

I guess you bought from eCost,
I bought the BT250 + Bafo Dongle combination from them (in the same order), I thought it was worth mentioning..
Guess I should have posted my earlier article in here but I do it now even though its crossposting.
I bought the Dell Axim bluetooth keyboard and it works just great with the 6315. This keyboard is made by Think Outside and they sell it (and other resellers) for $149.95. Dell buys it from them branded with the Dell logo and sells it for $124.95. Right now they are giving an instant rebate of $18.95 so I ended up paying about $106 for this keyboard.
This is a really nice keyboard, its small, looks very good and works even better.

I bought the BAFO also. Let me know if you get Activesync to work correctly with it.
It seems that you can't really modify the BT software much and the COM ports are 8 or 9. I get connected and AS sees the device, but says it is "unrecognized." I can do AS with IR and USB and it works fine.

BT 200 paird up no problem. Devices are working great. However, it seems that when I recive a call the other party tells me it sounds like I am in a tunnel. They say it is better when I make the calls though. Anyone have any info on this.
I have found the same thing... You can usually get rid of it by toggling the BT between device and unit. Sometimes takes a few times.
This is another annoying problem I hope they fix. They really need to get a patch out for these units quickly. People are starting to loose a lot of confidence.
My problem with my Motorola hs-820 ( which paired with no problem) is that it seems to disconnect itself everytime I use it. I will initiate it, and it will work fine. Fifteen or twenty minutes later I get a call and I can inly hear it on the phone. This sucks!!!!

Always waiting for the next best thing!! And right now that's the Blackjack!
New BT250 synced easily and works ok though it does add a bit of static to the audio, and I haven't seen the expected range. Interesting to me to note how location of phone changes audio, now orientation of phone to BT250 now impacts audio quality. Line the stars up and everything works fine, but if you're not careful where the phone is placed, or the relationship of the phone to the 250 and quality degrades fast.
HOWEVER I must add that the BT250 is the difference between this being an adequate phone and not. I'm on my second 6315 (audio quality and dropped calls on first). Holding the 6315 to ones ear is not fun, nor is carrying the wired headset and having to quickly extract and untangle for those unexpected calls. Being able to stick the 6315 in the pocket and just exposing the 250 (grabbing and answering via the device offhook button) is a huge difference. I was near returning the second one and reverting to 2 devices, but not now. HP should include the 250 as part of the package, can't say enough how much more usable this makes it.
UPDATE - I *do* have to reset the darn thing too often
As stated by others, I'm finding that I can't just leave the headset connected via bluetooth and expect it to work. So I either have to leave BT off on the 6315 and headset, and turn both on to answer the phone, use the brick against my head, or answer it and ask the caller to hold while I "enable" my headset.
Not happy with this solution. HP needs to fix some bugs in their bluetooth implementation?
Another success with an Acura TL. As stated above, I could not initiate the call with the car, I had to use the phone. Once I selected to continue with the headset, the car took over and worked perfectly.
