Can you please help me to solve this problem

Hello everyone ... I am new to the G and to this site. I just want to bump this thread to see if anyone has found new tweaks that have not already been posted? Programs and tweaks would be GREAT!!! Thanks for everything

Hey Fellas .... I am new wth the G but I learn quick

Here is a small tweak that you can do to some ROM files!!!

This will save you about 1MB of space but as we all know ..... Every kb adds up


1 - Use Activesync and Explore to the G's WINDOWS folder

2 - Arrange files by type

3 - Find all the .tsk files and highlight them all and copy to your desktop

4 - Pick which .tsk you would like to keep and which you never use/want (.tsk files are the themes for your G)

5 - On the ones you do NOT want/use - Right click and properties then UNCHECK read-only

6 - Right click and OPEN with NOTEPAD

6 - Right click on the text inside the notepad and click select all

7 - Hit the delete button

8 - Save file

9 - Repeat on othe .tsk files you do not use/want

10 - COPY all the updated .tsk files back to the windows folder on the G

Not sure on how much you will save but:

FrostedGlass.tsk 112kb 0kb
Cyberrainbow.tsk 112kb 0kb
Sparkle.tsk 112kb 0kb
Water.tsk 112kb 0kb
Bliss.tsk 39.6kb 0kb
Sprint.tsk 27.3kb 0kb

--------- That right there is about half MB (514.9KB)

NOTE: Since we cant delete these files we can alter them in a FEW ways


You could also find some other .tsk files (Antimated or not both work) that you like and REname them to match the ROM files and just copy them to the G
