g1000 won't boot

Hello all,

I have been a happy owner of a G1000 for six months now. A week ago my G froze so I performed a soft reset which froze on the Sprint Screen. I then took the battery out and flipped the dipswitch down (mine is missing the button) to perform a "hard reset". The phone still won't "boot" up. Any suggestions?

if its missing the switch then the switch is probably not operating properly. keep trying to work the switch or lockline the G for another unit...

If you never got it to hard reboot, I had to hard reboot mine by removong the battery and putting the cover back on for a minute or so, then replace the battery. Some units shipped without a hard reset button in the battery compartment.
