that "backup file" as you call it probably wont work with your phone. backup files contain unique (to use your term) information local to that device. if i sent you my backup file it would more than likely cause your phone errors because you will be loading programs, etc that your phone wont have.. and you will get a lot of erros upon bootup.
if you have not already,
perform a full reset by sliding the switch in the battery door. wait about 3 minutes then flip the switch back.
reinstall the battery (battery must be out for reset switch to work) and let it boot up. if you are STILL having the calibration issue, then its probably the screen and/or other internal hardware issues that are preventing the phone from booting (a hard reset is essentially a virtual "backup file" and would return the phone to factory) and no file will help you past that.
dont mean to be so negative, but im trying to spare you some time wasted...
