Hard reset gone-phone info tied to previous owner

Hey guys,

I just purchased a G1000 for cheap on Ebay. When I tried to activate it, it's asking for the previous owner's password but it didn't before I tried to activate it. I would just do a hard reset but the switch is missing. What can I do to get this phone reset? I took it to the Sprint techs but they couldn't help.

leave the battery out for 2 days.. phone will lose internal memory. once charged, just call in to sprint, they will give you the ## prompts to erase the old info and replace it with your new info.

hope the phone is clean and not "hot...or delcared loss"....

Talking

Just wanted to update everyone--I did the battery terminal short trick to hard reset the phone. Didn't have the patience to wait 48 hours for the backup battery to deplete. So I'm up and running! I'll keep the G for a little while then I'll find a reason to send it Lockline so I can get upgraded! I'll enjoy the G in the meantime, though.

I'm really learning from all of you guys' expertise with the G.

Thanks for the help!

Anthony
