Angry g100 Wont Turn on

Not 2 months ago i bought a g1000 from someone on ebay...the unit worked great for a couple weeks and it froze for the first time.....from then on it began to freeze more often then one day it just stopped turing back on....i tried the hard reset as directed in the manual

when i plug in the charger the orange light comes on and eventual turns green

i dont have a warrenty and when i went to sprint they told me to call hitachi who told me to call sprint

SOMEONE HELP!!!!!!!!!

it could be the full reset switch thats causing your grief. if you did a successful hard reset and its still flaking out like that.. then its probably a faulty unit and is not worth replacing. sprint has discontinued it and so has hitachi.

Did you get the insurance? If so I believe Sprint has to replace it with a model closest to the one you have.

Nope like i said i got it on Ebay when the phone changes accounts the warrenty on it is void....im only out $165 but its fact that sprint cant fix it for some reason and wont help or even tell me of somewhere i can take it......they keep giving me the run around

sprint is no longer supporting this phone and neither is hitachi. they will continue to give you the run around.

My Replacement phone is in route. My usb port got burnt out so I called them and paid my 50$ deductable and I should have my replacement by Tues.

Well I just received my NEW Audiovox 6601 and it is GREAT.

Someone please help!!!!

MY g1k wont power up anymore. I was moving files to my SD card and after that I put in my pocket. A little later I pulled it out to make a call and the screne was off and owuldnt turn back on. The green LED was flashing but the phone was completely unresponsive. I did several hard resets and I get absolutely no results from any of them. The phone still charges fine but nothing else will boot. Is there any way to completely clear the phone and reset the rom from a comp or maybe re write the reg?
