well, class, it is a sad day today



i am no longer a G-1000 owner. I was at wits' end because my phone would not come on anymore...... so I called sprint lockline and got a ppc-6601 free, plus a 5% bill discount and the sprint pcs fair and flexible plan. the 6601 should arrive in a couple of days, but I will always have a special place in my heart for the G. I plan to find a couple of cheap ones on ebay, and buy them. I simply love the G, and the 6601 won't fill its place entirely. I don't know what the emotional attachment of the G is.... perhaps because I have so many memories with it.
but I will come back to the G some time in the future.

and yeah... sprint tried the "well we're going to give you the trio." I had to play the "it won't work with my business connection" and "i've invested a lot of money in pocket PC software" cards and so I spoke with a supervisor, and my 6601 should be on its way :thumbsup:

I myself, just recieved my G not too long ago... i'm sure to have a long run with it, until some nice new phone come out around 07'.

I will return to the G....
