i just bought a G1000 on ebay for 200$.. it fairly new.. well when i got it today.. i charged the phone and then i turned the phone on... everything turn on fine.. and then.. it ask me to ALLIGNED the screen by touching those X so i did.. after that i click NEXT on the screen and then it went to a screen call " POP UP MENUES,,, HOLD TAP KEY ...ect" and then it just stop moving anywhere.. i tried presssing every button and it just wont go anywhere.. seem like it stuck on that ... so could anybody help me with it? is it suppose to be like that or my phone just retarded? or do i have to ACTIVATE the phone for it to fuction right? ...

second question.. does this fone shut off automatic after few minutes or somthing? kuz i noticed when the phone is on and then few minutes later it shut off completely.. and then i have to press the POWER button on the back of it and then it pop right back to where i was. i tried to push that reset button on the back of this phone twice already and it still the same. it wont get to the main window... please help me... my email is washingtonxguy@aol.com or reply on here and let me know. thanks guys

just hard reset your phone.. take the battery out, switch the pin switch in the battery compartment to hard reset it... wait abut 5 munutes then switch the pin switch back to the off position and reinsert the battery,, then try the setup procedure.. worse case the screen is misaligned and thats probably why the person sold it on fleabay in the first place..

as for the shut off, yeah the default is like a minute or so.. you can go in and change that no problem...

ok let me try that. i mean the screen ALLIGNED thing work fine.. it just when i click NEXT after it alliged. it went to a different screen and it stuck there..

ummm.. i dont see any PIN that u can switch around like u told me to.... ... the screen that i have on right now that i see that WONT move anywhere it said " POP - UP MENUES> use pop up menues to reshceule the following appoitment. TAP AND HOLD the 9am dental apooint, and then tap CUT on the pop up menues. WIERDDDD

i think i know why im stuck at that screen. i guess when u turn the phone on.. at the begining.. they suppose to show u how to work it after each section. and at the bottom right of screen.. suppose to show up " NEXT" then u click on that and then it lead u to next section. but when i got to the next section.. the " NEXT" didn't show up for me to press on to go on next one. so how do i fix that? and i still can't find the HARD RESET? i took the battery out and i dont see any PIN to HARD RESET the only pin i see are the pin that for the BATTER USE. and those CAN"T MOVE

To the right side of the battery there’s a little hole with a little tiny switch inside (you almost need a magnifying glass to see it). This is the main power switch and it will hard reset your phone. You can also try hitting reset while holding the power button to do almost the same thing (I would assume you have already tried a soft reset). FYI on the screen you’re talking about you should be able to touch the stylus to the white part with the "appointment" and just hold it down till you get the editing menu, hit cut then it will tell you how to paste it.
