im not sure anyone knows. There is not a lot of behind the scenes documentation for this phone. It is why the memory upgrade doesnt exist.

I wouldn't count on it. The G1000 is really a thing of the past I'm afraid. It lived a good, fruitful life, albeit a bit short lived. Thanks to the shortsightedness of Sprint and Hitachi for only giving it 32 megs of RAM and not offering a WM2003 upgrade, it was pretty much doomed from the start. Not to worry though, the 660x is a VERY good replacement! Good luck finding your info on the G1000 but I wouldn't hold my breath, anybody who was hardcore and had a G1000 has moved on by now pretty much, just the way it goes with technology I'm afraid.

Hi, I have a Hitachi G1000, i want to Change the NAM Settings to use this PHONE on other PCS carrier,

please let me know if this phone needs the SPC code or MSL code to unlock the NAM SETTINGS?


If any person KNOW how to change the PRL File, or enter to NAM SETTINGS, please let me know.

I don't know whether someone has posted this before, but I need to get the 6 digits MSL code for my-G.

Anyone willing to help me? I tried the bitpim, but still could not find the MSL code.

Have you tried to ptogram the QPST?

Tried it, but it wouldn't let me write the prl. It said something about exclusive access. Qpst read the G alright, but it wouldn't write anything to the G. Dunno why .....

Have you got the msl code jwr31? Try to talk with a sprint tech, just say that you accidentally locked the phone. It worked for me ...
