G1000 SDIO / Wifi

I'm considering the purchase of a SD card for my new G1000, and I'm leaning toward the purchase of a combo Wifi/memory card such as this:

http://www.compusa.com/products/prod...5052&pfp=srch1

Has anyone tried this? Are you happy with it? Seems like it sticks out quite a bit from the side of the G1000; I'd think this would be a pain...

Looks like the SDIO update is available from Hitachi's website. I assume this is stable?

I've got the socket card without the memory, worked great with the G1000 after applying the SDIO update.

Thanks Tom.

I'm assuming the Wifi card requires drivers of some sort...I don't see any real network-card settings in my current options.

How about security? Does it support WEP and SSID options? I want to make sure this will work with my WAP at home...

Well, you can disregard that part...I found the general Network options (with a few default adapters in there), so I assume the Wifi card must come with drivers of some sort to add it.

The socket card has drivers and wireless software that allows you to manage WEP, SSID's, etc.
