Ummm just so it's clear, you want to configure your Pocket Outlook to connect to your Yahoo! Mail Pro POP3 account? If so it's easy to do this, just open your pocket outlook inbox, then click on Services...New Service... Then type in your email that you want (yourusername@yahoo.com), it will try to connect, just click Skip, then put in your info (Name, yahoo username, yahoo password) then click Next, for Service Type, tap POP3 if it isn't already selected, then type in the mail server info you use to check your yahoo mail through your PC's outlook, and click finish.

LOL yeah..

Is it me, or does anyone find it weird that it takes a CCNP to configure a Pocket PC Wizard?

c'mon
cut the abuse, the signature wasnt there to self-agrandize but as part of my problem that I asked you guys for help on. The email account from the g is a business account is my point.
The CCNP and CISSP certs. are for totally different technologies.

BTW I know an top trained/cert'ed Mercedez Benz Deisel engine mech. that cant fix an Jet engine.

Ummm ok if you have Yahoo Mail that you pay for, I thought they provided you with POP3 access to your account? If that's the case, can't you just configure it as a POP3 service as I described?

This is Yahoo's response...It still a nogo for me
1. Log into your web-based account at:

http://mail.yahoo.com

to ensure that your password has not changed.

2. There may be a mistake in your email client settings. Please ensure
that you have configured your email client with the settings below. For
information on entering these settings into various email clients, go
to:

http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/pop/

Incoming Mail (POP3) Server:
pop.mail.yahoo.com

Outgoing (SMTP) Server:
smtp.mail.yahoo.com

Account Name/Login Name:
Your Yahoo! ID

Email address:
Your full email address (you@yourdomain.com)

3. You may have selected an incompatible login method or server type
when you set up your email client. To check your settings, please follow
the appropriate steps below for your email client.

Outlook 98 & 2000:

* Click Tools,
* Click Accounts, and then select your Web Hosting email account on the
Mail tab.
* Click Properties.
* Click the Servers tab and ensure "Logon using Secure Password
Authentication" is not selected. Ensure that you have checked the box
next to "My Server Requires Authentication."
* Click the Advanced tab and ensure that you have not selected "This
Server Requires a Secure Connection (SSL)" under the incoming (POP3) or
outgoing (SMTP) port settings.

It looks like it supports POP3 so I'm surprised it isn't working, it really should!

You may want to check your setting because I paid the $19.95 a year for more storage and pop access and everything works fine for me.
