Ok here I go then---
Overclocking "May" only increase overall call/connection quality due to bandwidth factors, but not dramatically.... correct? If so, I won't bother wtih overclocking for now.
And with the Linksys Router... presuming the person at the PC end of my outbound call has Messenger... the call should punch right through their Router, correct?
Well then I'll run an experiment outside of my Intranet tomrrow.
Given the direction of this conversation, I am lead to ask: What would be acceptable video on a handheld device? (Thinking in terms of frame rate, compression artifacts, and dimensions.)
is it just me or are you unable to flip the video, when the camera is pointing at me (Hitachi G1000) the video is obviously upside down, is there a setting to correct this? I have Portrait 2.3

Not only did this program freeze up my computer when I lost my IP address, it also froze my G1000 at the same time while they were connected. Had to reset both. I'm not really feeling this program...

It was my understanding that resetting the camera profile was supposed to do the same thing as a soft reset without the reset. Evidently Hitachi was aware of the flip over problem and added this option.
that also resets your picture mail settings when uploading to the picture mail server. just dont forget them, if you reset the camera it will ask you for your username/pswd...
