$65 for my SPH-i300 Palm PDA +Internet Phone – FREE SHIPPING

SOLD

Hello everyone.

I am selling my Samsung SPH-i300 Palm PDA Phone for $65.00 w/free PRIORITY MAIL 2-3 day shipping & insurance. I bought this phone a couple months ago. Both the Palm PDA and the cell phone work great. You probably already know this PDA-phone well, since you are reading these forums.

I am able to get FREE Verizon Internet @ 14.4Kbps with this phone. The Blazer web browser lets you browse with images. Look at the edmunds.com website I have loaded in my pictures. The vendor I bought it from promised a New-condition refurbished phone, but the phone case has a few scratches which you don’t notice that much, cause the actual phone plastic is grey. So be warned: even if you buy from a vendor that promises NEW Condition, it most likely has a bit of wear and tear. And yes I bought it sealed in the box. But the scratches are there, regardless. So know that you are not buying a new phone. In my opinion it is in great cosmetic condition. The screen is perfect, scratch-free. The battery works great, and lasts for hours! I think it was new when I bought it.

The graphics are pretty sharp, as you can tell in the pictures. It also has links to Accuweather website where you can get a quick weekly weather forecast, with images. Speakerphone works like a charm. Voice activated dialing also works great. Verichat software allows you to use IM with this phone (cool feature) but you have to purchase it. I have SMS software installed which lets you send txt messages (cool feature).

This phone is programmed for the VERIZON network. I will call VERIZON and tell them it has been sold, so you will not have any problems there. I don’t think you need to re-program it with the step-by-step instructions (included). You will be ok by just calling VERIZON and having them activate it for you. If this doesn’t work, you could always follow the included instructions. NO NEED TO DIAL *228 after activation.

For pictures of the phone right click on the link below and “SAVE AS”

Here’s what you will receive for $65.00

Samsung SPH-i300
Home Charger
One additional Home Charger (keep one at home & one at the office)
USB Cable & CD Drivers
Car Charger (still sealed)
Single Earpiece & Mic
Palm Software CD
Blazer CD
Box & bubble wrap
FREE PRIORITY MAIL SHIPPING & INSURANCE

IMPORTANT:
You will not be able to receive Voicemail notifications with this phone (not yet at least). To get around this, you can easily program your Voicemail box to page you (call your phone) when you get a voicemail. Everyone in this discussion group has the same problem; it’s not a phone defect.

Also, I am unable to receive SMS text messages with my phone. Others on this group can, but I think since Verizon has my phone listed as a SCH N150, it doesn’t work. Some people say the phone is listed as a Samsung SCH-N105, or a SCH-N300 or even a SPH-N300 phone. My profile shows that the ESN is registered as a SCH-N150. I believe if you tell them it’s a Samsung SCH-N105, or a SCH-N300 or even a SPH-N300 phone when you activate it, you will able to receive txt messages also. But there is software on the phone that will let you send SMS test messages. Or you can post here and someone that has it working will help.

If you are interested in buying my phone, please send me a PM, and I will give you my PAYPAL ID.

Question Still Availabe

Just wondering if that I300 is still available.

I'm curious about the little bugger, but I just can't rationalize spending a bunch of money on 'em, especially after reading all the comments on the forum about "challenges" with 'em.
