1 month old 7135 (Alltel phone) for sale

I am offering my 7135 for sale. It has been activated on Verizon and is in perfect condition. I purchased it to evaluate it for my Navy command and now that my evaluation is complete and the Navy will be purchasing 7135's for our use I no longer need this one. (The Navy has to purchase its phones via GSA contract from the service provider and can not reimburse me for this phone. I am offering it for $600.00, in the box with everything that came with it. I will ship it COD at my expense overnight delivery.

P.S. My evaluation of the phone is that it is an excellent phone and is still the best I have seen in the market including some that are not yet available. It isn't perfect, but then none of them are.

Wow!, barjohn, I'm with NSWC VA Beach, and I've been thinking about this phone since May or June of last year.

So, NSWC is going to get some, huh? I just went Govie and will be getting a phone ... I wonder if I'll be able to choose the 7135? At the moment, I'm limping along with my personal 6135.

That is our plan. However, we are having to evaluate several other phones before the decision will become final. Nextel insisted that we evaluate their Blackberry 6510 which I am currently evaluating along with 5 other people (they gave us 5 to evaluate for a week). They are awkward to carry, no speaker phone, no expansion capability and very limited applications. The thumb keyboard and wheel are the two best attributes. No color screen either (you get spoiled).
