is there a way to view PDAPhone forum without all the over head pictures and poster details. I often view the page from my cell phone and if I could get a simpler view it would help.

errr, you really don't even need to search. Just open the PDAPhoneHome General Discussion > Site News, Problems, and Suggestions forum. Right at the top, in the attention grabbing yellow block is a sticky thread called PDA Friendly Forum Skin - Public Beta which answers your question.
