Great Vietnam Memorial Wall photo. I took something like that. I do a lot of post to make up for the crappy camera I'm currently shooting with. I'll soon be upgrading to a Canon EOS 5D, I'm so excited.
Lens blur is fake and done after the colorization which adds slightly to the realism of the photo(because some of the colorization is blurred.) It was an experiment that ended up being one of my most popular photographs.

Great shot. Looks like you were shooting during the day. My shot was taken when it was almost completely dark outside.... it was at the last stages of dusk where you could barely see anything. The 5D is a phenominal camera... I am actually going to be ordering one today I think, given the new double rebate of $600.
Man am I happy you mentioned that new rebate. I just bought two lens and a new speedlight on October 15, so I get around $230 back. I have been HIGHLY thinking about getting the 5d because of the $600 back on it, but I still would have to spend around $2200 to get it, and my 20D is working fine. I do want another camera body, but I think I will wait until the replacement for the 30D hits the market, and pick it up, still lower than the $2200 price point of the 5D.
Thanks Mike for the information on the rebate. Just to let you know, I picked up the 24-70mm F/2.8. It will arrive today, and it replaces my 28-135mm IS f/3.5-5.6. I can't wait to get it. I also picked up a second flash, a Speedlight 580EX.

You have some Quality shots here. What kind of camera and equipment do you have?
Thanks for the compliments... I listed the equipment up at the beginning of the first post. I used a Canon 1D Mark IIN and a variety of lenses... primes and zooms.
